Gender inequality is the state in which access to rights or opportunities is affected by gender. Gender inequality is an issue not just nationally but globally. This issue is portrayed by the mistreating of individuals, mainly women, and not valuing everyone as one. This presentation will illustrate the exploration of gender equality, propose a solution and why that solution will produce a better future for a better world. Gender inequality is a very important issue common in our world today that refers to unequal treatment or perceptions of individuals based on their gender. It arises from differences in socially constructed gender roles as well as biologically through chromosomes, brain structure, and hormonal differences. Gender inequality stems from distinctions, whether empirically grounded or socially constructed. The only differences that men and women behold is their appearance and some organs. Women have 1 brain and 1 heart which is the same as men but are still dehumanised. If our world continues to carry out gender inequality, women won’t have a voice to contribute to our society and men will have the final choice and the freedom of speech. Out of the seven deadly sins, two of the seven occur the most; Pride and Envy. Pride is shown by the man who thinks they’re superior to women. This is sometimes a result from Envy. Envy is seen when the man suffers from jealousy about the wo man and her possessions. He then treats her less than as a sign of Envy/Jealousy.
